How Yaval collects, uses, and protects the information you submit through our forms.

Last updated: June 2, 2026

1. Who we are

Yaval operates a neutral B2B commodity trade desk. We connect serious buyers with verified suppliers and act as the commercial contracting party on executed deals. This policy explains how we handle the information you provide through our website.

2. Information we collect

When you submit an RFQ, supplier application, or contact request, we collect the details you enter — such as your name, company, email, phone/WhatsApp number, product requirements, commercial terms, and any documents you choose to upload.

We also automatically record limited technical metadata (such as IP address and browser user-agent) to protect our forms against abuse.

3. How we use your information

We use your information solely to operate the trade desk: to review your request, verify suppliers, run the supplier competition, prepare offers, and communicate with you about your submission.

Buyer identities and contact details are never shared with suppliers. Supplier identities and raw offers are never shared with buyers. We share only what is necessary to execute a deal once both sides have agreed to proceed.

4. Email communications

When you submit a form, we send a confirmation to your email and an internal notification to our trade desk. We only contact you about your request and deals you are involved in.

5. Document storage

Files you upload are stored in a private, access-controlled store. They are accessible only to authorised Yaval staff for verification and deal execution, never to other buyers or suppliers.

6. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires it, we process your information on the basis of: performance of, or steps toward, a contract (handling your RFQ, application, or deal); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the trade desk and preventing abuse; your consent where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep sessions secure and remember interface preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.

8. Data retention

We retain submissions for as long as needed to operate the trade desk, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and maintain an audit trail, after which we delete or anonymise them. You may request deletion of your data, subject to those obligations.

9. How we protect your data

We apply administrative and technical safeguards including access controls, encrypted transport, private document storage, and role-based access limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

10. International data transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as recognised adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) as required by applicable law.

11. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact the Yaval trade desk; we may need to verify your identity first.

12. Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third parties

We use trusted service providers (for example, our database/storage provider and our email delivery provider) to operate the service. They process data only on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.

15. Contact
